Kevin De Bruyne | Napoli

Charles De Ketelaere | Atalanta

Romelu Lukaku | Napoli

Lukaku holds Belgium’s all-time scoring record, a tally more than 50 clear of any other Belgian. At 33 he still holds the ball up, links the attack, and punishes slow defending. His 86th minute strike against Senegal started the comeback that kept Belgium alive.

Amadou Onana | Aston Villa

Onana is the midfield enforcer Garcia needed. He wins aerial duels, breaks up play in the press, and covers huge ground. His deep passing is underrated, and stopping Spain’s possession game will run through him.

Jérémy Doku | Manchester City

How Belgium Qualified for World Cup 2026

Belgium came through UEFA Group J unbeaten, ahead of Wales, North Macedonia, Kazakhstan, and Liechtenstein. Highlights included a 4-3 win over Wales in Brussels and back-to-back 6-0 results against Liechtenstein and Kazakhstan in September.

They sealed the group on November 18, 2025 with a 7-0 win over Liechtenstein, Jérémy Doku scoring twice inside seven first-half minutes.
