The order is head-to-head points, then head-to-head goal difference, then head-to-head goals scored. If teams are still level, FIFA uses overall goal difference, then overall goals scored, then the fair play record, and finally the FIFA ranking.

Group C Results

Brazil opened against Morocco at MetLife Stadium. Morocco led through Ismael Saibari, but Vinícius Júnior equalized and a late Alisson double save rescued a 1-1 draw. At Gillette Stadium, John McGinn’s goal gave Scotland a 1-0 win over Haiti on their World Cup return.

On June 19, both favorites struck back. Morocco beat Scotland 1-0 through another early Saibari goal, scored after just 70 seconds. Brazil thrashed Haiti 3-0 in Philadelphia, with Matheus Cunha scoring twice and Vinícius Júnior adding the third.
